Quality over quantity – If you are a meat eater, you need to get the best quality, ie. free of hormones, pesticides ect., preferably organic. Same goes for your veggies and fruits, we highly recommend that you choose organic. It’s good for your body and our planet.
Food is medicine. We didn’t make that up… “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” is the full quote by Hippocrates, (circa 400 BCE). We are not saying food can cure everything, although the right diet can definitely help in preventing problems, by choosing the right nutrients many health problems people have, have been fixed.
We believe in good science. Yet we also recognize that cultures way older than ours have a great deal to offer with what are called alternative medicines. Like diets, one natural approach may not work for everyone, but chances are there is something out there that will. Combined with western medicines, you can have the best of both worlds.
